Description
Join Holland Society Executive Director Sarah Cooney for a private tour of the home of past Holland Society Member and former US President Teddy Roosevelt. Sagamore Hill is a National Park located in Cove Neck, New York, near Oyster Bay on Long Island and was the home of Theodore Roosevelt, 26th President of the United States, from 1885 until his death in 1919. During Roosevelt's time in office, his "Summer White House" was the focus of international attention. We will explore the interior of the home and a portion of the 83 acres of grounds, led by a National Park ranger. Read more about Sagamore Hill here.
Later, join us for lunch at Seawanhaka Corinthian Yacht Club, Teddy Roosevelt's yacht club, in Centre Island, New York.
