Description

Join us for a 1-hour private tour of the birthplace of past Holland Society Member and former US President Theodore Roosevelt. This National Historic Site remembers the president's accomplishments and legacy. Theodore Roosevelt, America's 26th president, lived at this site from his 1858 birth until he was 13 years old. This New York townhouse was reconstructed after Roosevelt's death in 1919 by Theodate Pope Riddle, with five restored period rooms decorated with many of its original furnishings, donated by Roosevelt's sisters and wife.
